For this project, TB Marmi oversaw the entire process: from site measurement to design through to final installation of the shower cladding.
The selected material is Botticino, a sedimentary stone in light beige, characterized by delicate natural veining. This stone was chosen for its understated elegance and ability to enhance refined spaces, as well as for its excellent workability and durability.
The distinctive feature of the project lies in the semicircular geometry of the cladding and the presence of decorative bas-relief elements: floral motifs in the form of roses, not applied afterward, but carved directly from the solid material. A design choice that required an extremely precise approach both during the design development phase and during execution.

Added to this is an aspect that is often underestimated: site measurement. Working inside a yacht involves confined spaces and geometries that are not always regular, thus requiring extremely accurate data acquisition to ensure perfect integration of the cladding.
The most complex part of this project was the creation of the floral decorations, as they required extreme precision and attention to detail.
The design of the bas-reliefs was initially developed through 3D CAD modeling, essential for studying the proportions and depth of the forms on a curved surface. Subsequently, the work was executed using a 5-axis machine, capable of translating the digital model into an initial three-dimensional form on the material.
The mechanical processes produced an accurate but “rough” base, with surfaces still slightly irregular. It is at this stage that the specialization and skill of the craftsmen emerge: manual finishing work transformed the floral relief elements into defined and precise forms, giving the rose petals a smooth and polished surface, capable of reflecting light and creating a refined three-dimensional effect.
